United Martial Arts Academy needs your help adding content to our website. Following is a list of items you can provide to help your Dojo. Please help us out if you can where it applies to you.
Pictures
Any pictures you may have will be a great addition to our gallery.
Videos
Any videos you may have will be a great addition to our video gallery.
Testimonials
Parents & or students can right a short testimonial pertaining to their experiences with us. This will be of great help to perspective students and their families when deciding if the wish to attend a class.
Instructions
If you have any diagrams or instructions concerning anything that is taught in each of the classes (blocks, strikes, katas, etc.) whatever it may or if you know places on the internet where this can be acquired these will be very helpful. When I was I beginner student just starting out I could only retain so much information when I left the Dojo. I wanted to practice at home but it was difficult for me to remember what it was I needed to practice and the correct way to do it. Many times I turned to the internet for guides or instructions and it will be a great resource to our students to have those guides for reference right here on our own site.
Personal Journal
One of the features being added to the site is a personal journal (or blog) for any student or instructor who wishes to use it. This tool will not only help the user to document their own personal journey through their martial arts training it will be helpful to other students as well to see how your personal experience with UMAA has helped you to grow as person & may inspire them. These will be viewable by your classmates & instructors only.
Answer Questions
There will be a Q&A section in the forums for both students & potential students. We will need as many instructors & senior students to monitor this as area as possible and help with any advice or answers they can.
Monitor Site
If you are instructor with internet access it will be a greaqt deal of help if you can assit in monitoring and maintaining the site.
